From this view
the out seems in.
Even when I want to step away
I am comfortable walking right in.
And the roadside seems nice
for an evening walk outside,
but isn’t it much better
staying where I am?
If I go out
I may not want to leave
and to find a spot
that reminds me of the old.
and when that feeling of the old fades
the new will tell me to go back in.
And so if that happens
I will stay here and wait
for the out to invite me in.
