Mad Dog

mad dog

I’m having a bad day

The ground is as mushy as clay

My head hurts all the time

My eyes see everything as prey.

Shoot me!

I’m a mad dog.

Something is flowing through my blood

My veins filled with volcanic mud

My vision drowning with poison

Tears are streaming from my eyes in a flood

Shoot me!

I’m a bad dog.

My mouth is foaming with thirst

My stomach is about to burst

My teeth are itching to bite

My claws kill because they are cursed

Shoot me!

I’m a sad dog.

Yeah! Shoot me! I’m a mad dog.

Otherwise, you’ll disappear in a blood fog

You’ll regret being kind, when your eyes are swirling to blind

like a sink that’s sunk from being blood clogged

Yeah! Shoot me!

Very impressive poetry. Lol why does a dog getting rabies have to be the cause of 85% of the sad dog books? Just curious, what inspired this?
