A non-fiction work about a Malala Yousafzai. As a young girl, Malala grew up in Pakistan, just around the time that the Taliban was moving in to stop girl’s education. She was a strong advocator of women’s education, which made her a big target for the Taliban. Her father was the principal of her school, and Malala continued to attend despite the threats to her life and the threats to her family. Her story is about the fear that the Taliban created, and how she overcame it, despite all odds.
