But what is scarier
Than the day we can’t connect
Like the petals falling off
Of a dying rose
But what is scarier
Than the day we can’t smile
Like the angels
Looking at us from above
But what is scarier
Than the day we can’t unite
Like the so called humanity
Was supposed to do
Quite frankly, I don’t know
And let’s not find out
Let’s keep it like this
It’s perfect this way

This is beautiful Srija! I too hope that we as humans can guard our humanity. I think that if everyone had a little more empathy, we will be able to 🙂

Yes! Never underestimate the power of radical empathy.
