It is the most magical time of the year: exam season! Yay! Prepare to panic. The time between Halloween and Christmas is always filled with excitement, but also stress and anxiety. Hopefully, these tips can help you still enjoy a festive holiday season!
Take breaks
It is very important with exams coming up to take breaks while you are studying. Also, during these breaks, try not to just look at your phone. You could take a walk around your neighborhood, or read a book.
Spend some time with your family
If the constant grind of waking up, going to school, coming home, studying, and sleeping is making you feel burnt out, I advise you to go hang out with your family. Even if it is just eating dinner with them, or watching a show with them, it could help you recharge and calm you down.
Plan a hangout with your friends
You and your friends need to still hang out during this time. Even if you think you don’t have time, you need to make time. Hanging out with friends can help you remember that others are also going through what you are. Even if it is just hanging out at the mall for a day, just laugh and have a good time.
Try to not study for hours on end
If you are stressed about exams, try to make a study plan. Don’t study the entirety of the subject in one night. Try to study a section of a unit in the topic, do not overwhelm yourself.
Even though these next few weeks will be difficult for many people, these tips will help you survive exam season and have a Holly Jolly time.
