Artist Statement:
This was an assignment that I got for a foundations art class, because I am a visual artist at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. The assignment was to cover a piece of paper in charcoal so that it was pitch black and then erase designs of hands into it. I used gum erasers, rubber erasers, and knead-able erasers.
