As a nation, we give thanks.
The Pilgrims cultivated the new world,
So we can celebrate.
Our history planted a seed,
A seed for growth,
Growth through thanks.
On Thanksgiving day,
We celebrate.
We celebrate with our families,
Our friends,
Our loved ones.

Our culture,
Our nation’s shared history.
I am thankful for my education,
My school,
My educators,
The lessons I learn,
You teach me.
I am thankful for my friends,
Our laughs,
Our adventures,
My happiest memories,
I share with you.
I am thankful for my family,
My parents,
My sister,
The love you share,
You are my home.
One day for thanks,
Is not nearly enough,
I am thankful every day.
